Whether you arrive to the village from southeast or northwest, everytime it presents its two landmarks, the slim high-rising church tower and the beamy donjon of the castle. An impressive and at the same time lovely skyline. When you take some time to rise up to one of the substantial forest-rich heights then you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the northern Palatinate highlands.
Although the total population is declining, a lowly prosperity prevails. Houses and roads are throughout in a maintained condition. The humans are strongly homeland-bound and accept itself the inconveniences of the commuter for further living in the village. They also have a reason; because there is no other valley in Palatinate, where you discover beautiful landscapes and historical interests like this.
Each traveller you only can recommend: Come by, hike to the beautiful forests, climb to the mountains, enjoy the attractive views, the healthy air and the silence. However the land not only is unusually beautiful, it is also historical.
